Pharmacy Cuts Campaign

Despite Funding Cuts being imposed and judicial reviews sought, the campaign to promote community pharmacy is far from over!

What You Can Do

  • Write a personalised letter or email to your MP, telling him or her to back your local pharmacies and share your stories with the LPC.
  • Please draw your MP’s attention to the NPA website:
  • Follow the NPA on Facebook and share published posts
  • Follow the NPA Twitter feed at:
  • Keep posting on social media: don’t forget to use the hashtag #lovemypharmacy. Share anything you like to show how much of a positive difference you are making to your patients

MP Engagement

Pharmacies and their teams can support national work at a local level in a number of ways:

Host an MP visit or write a personalised handwritten letter to your MP – please contact the LPC first before arranging an MP visit, guidance for which can be found on the PSNC website.
If you need help compiling your letters, the NPA has assigned a dedicated email address, or telephone 0330 123 1035
Talk to your patients and use the available resources to get their support using the NPA Campaign Cards.
Please send completed campaign cards in an envelope to your local MP
